alboe2009,
There have been a few that joined today that have the same tendency as you describe...Not saying its good or bad, but just saying I made an observation of it...

I asked my friends and neighbours who they boarded their dog(s) with and if they were happy with the care. Everyone used the same kennel and gave very positive feedback. I put my dog in daycare with the kennel before I had her stay overnight just to check things out.

I hired a dog walker for the times my husband has to travel for  business (my husband usually works from home so the dog isn't used to being alone during my work day). I interviewed one dog walker whose references were good but watching her interact with my GSD made me really uneasy- it seemed like she was afraid of my dog (a high energy but friendly 8 month old). I didn't hire her. Instead, I hired someone  who had a number of large dogs in her clientele and who was clearly comfortable with a GSD during the interview. She's been great and I would recommend her to others.

This was the line I felt that violated the TOS. "How about the kennel owner/operator does a background check on you just to see if you are as big a moron as you seem to be?" Since I have never insulted anyone on this board, I felt it was uncalled for and unnecessary.

That post was a little harsh, but I don't think he meant you personally,  he was just   giving the perspective of the kennel owner.  An eye opener for me, as I'm usually  thinking about my baby and yes, they deserve more special treatment than anyone else's!

I used to be a bus driver and yes,  had background checks done on me before I could drive.
(bus driver sounds like such a funny job, I have this vision of a bus driver in my head and it isn't me )

There is only one definition for you. So he was talking to me. I cant take it any other way, but abusive.
