Moons, is she dominate or becoming so? She could be claiming her territory (you) and preventing the others from being around you. It's hard to tell for sure unless watching her, but she could be pushing into the space of others ( people and dogs) to claim possession. Some owners look at this as affectionate and flattering, but it's actually a declaration of possession.

I was just curious about it. When I say they act like typical brother/sister they just have their little spurts, I understand they don't look at each other in that sense. The female is just so much higher energy, but she's starting to mellow out more and more now, and they typically get along well. I'm not sure if she just peed, she was sitting down at the time, staring off in the distance and Buck just trots up to her and marks. As for other marking, I've seen Buck and his dad both on opposite sides of a small tree before, marking.....what a father/son experience......
Phil, contact with another dog outside of the Husky pack? About a week ago she was playing with someone elses dog.
I'll never forget the day my friend had his dog over though, stopped in the yard, on leash, the dog just sniffs my friend, and then hikes his leg on the guy like he's a tree. This is a tall dog too, and he really had to go. I knew marking in itself wasn't uncommon I just didn't know about on other pack members with the dogs.

none of the above.
She simply enjoys the feeling of touch.
Moons.
