Seen and heard of many top contenders with Mild HD ofa /sv ratings...never missed a lick or a working day in their lives until around 9 or 10 yrs old..which is even found in dogs with OFA passing rates...Arthritis gets even the best of all of us...who have hearts that still tick.

NO  I would never breed the dog...THE reason.....like Jenn said....Why put a Questionable  check mark in the barrell.?

For years and years  and years...this HD  question is pondered. wondered, discussed, Cussed and tossed to and fro. with no certainty...SO   when you know ...you would never convince me or anyone who would buy a pup...that the question of HD was there....and Known...

Just like the life of a Believer...if you know it is sin and still do it.....it is sin  and It is a sin of  Omission...and you are held accoutable in Gods eyes.
A sin done a time without knowledge is one of Comission and you correct yourself and try not to do it again...

Since we cannot prove the cause for HD in any of our gsd, upon without a reasonable doubt being there., then do not breed a dog with a one hip bad and one right...just will not ever do anyone a good nights sleep if the whole litter produced by one breeding comes up with all of them bad  HD ratings, and then you have a lot of people to answer to..I would not chance it..  There are too many good hipped rated dogs to fulfill your desire to breed.!!!!

His health may never show one limp or pain...GO work him and do not look back.  You will know when to stop. He will tell you I can assure you of that...A german shepherd will never even let you see one day of disappointment unless it is really bad..when you see that   ...you will know it....
