Kennel Vikar Best of Bite Work - Page 3

Well, you know what they say: "Even bad publicity is good for business."  But, I still think it is unfair to compare the two.  Vikar has produced some really excellent dogs and VIt Glisnik is a talented trainer.  I would certainly consider Vikar for a working or sport dog.

LSUmom, good luck with your dog. I wasn't putting down the kennel or the breeders. Was just making light of the LE and sport comment. I'm sure you're very happy.

I enjoyed the video as well. I agree with Jim, Vikar does have some very nice dogs. I would own a dog from them anyday.

I know that this is an OLD thread... but I would love to hear from people that have Vikar dogs..What they like.. dont like about them.... Drives.... temperment... are they handler soft or hard... how are the hips/elbows... any health issues (such as alllergies. either food or environment)... Did you DM test your dog...

 

Bump.... I would love to hear from anyone that has a dog from the Vikar kennels...

By looking at the pedigrees of most of the Vikar dogs that I have it looks like alot of them are mostly west german workinglines.... with minimal Czech lines....  I have really liked most of the dogs that I have seen from Vikar... just wanted some first hand experience before I contacted Vikar.

EXCELLENT training helpers.  Is it common in Europe to use the half sleeve like they use in the video?

Where can I find info on pedigrees for these dogs?

I would be very interested in what the owner has to say.

In the video that was posted it will say the dogs names.... I then did a search on here for the pedigree..

I was very impresses with the helper work as well... ALot of very nice dogs.

Wow, you did your research the hard way.  I was looking for a shortcut.

I'd be interested in a dog from them as well.  Maybe a package deal :)
