Thanks again, MFH and Ibrahim :)  Ibrahim -- your boy is so handsome I love the coloring and his expression is very intelligent. I will post more pictures of Sabre as he matures.

Hi,
He has good size and  good bone and  very good proportions and type.
He shows a strong head, with very good expression,
a very good ear set, with dark eyes at this age.
He has high withers firm back, with a sl. short and sl. steep croup.
showing a very good topline.
He has very good front  and hind angulations.
He shows a good depth of chest with a good forechest development.
He has a good underline and a good tuck up, but  the sturnam needs to be longer.
He stands strait in front.
His sire's bloodline has super working  abilities and his look is great.
I'm sure he will grow into a fantastic, super dog, which many can only hope for.
Pl keep posting his photos,
 Thank you.

High withers, laid back shoulder - will make competition heeling beautiful.
Upright pasterns, and compact feet - will hold up for a long time.
Nice top line, but need better stack for better idea.
Good stop and head proportions, yes head seems a bit domed, he he is young.

How are his drives?

Thank you Sonora and SitasMom for the critiques.  I'm trying to improve his stacking and he's doing well with it.  I've not taken any stacked pictures of him since this photo session but will post more in a couple of months.

SM -- his drives are good.  His food drive is over the top, his prey drive is high for chasing people.  His toy drive is medium to high depending on what toy and his mood.  He's been easy to train so far, but tends to push limits more than my other GSD's have.  His temperament is exactly what I wanted: excellent and very tolerant of children, even unknown kids.  Aloof but tolerant of adults.  Learns quickly.  That's about all I can see thus far, I do plan to take him an IPO club.  I'm letting him mature more both mentally and physically before a do a ton of training and testing with him.  I consider him a diamond in the rough.  Though his perfect ways with children make him more valuable to me than a real diamond.  We have a 5 year old daughter and a 10 month old son and he is affectionate and gentle with them both.

He looks VERY nice, just based on these pix. And sounds
as if he has the perfect trainable temperament.  If you
get fed up with him, consider sending him to the UK,
he's just "the pup I'd like to take home" !!!

Amended to add:  Can't think how I missed this thred earlier.
