Pres, unfortunately, you photo did not post. You have to hit the 'upload' button, then browse your computer to select the photo, then hit 'send it to the server'.

Hope that helps! I'd like to see it.

No camel hump in the middle of his back. IMHO, breeders on both sides of the ocean have taken it to an extreme, and done a disservice to the breed. A GSD shouldnt have a rear of a Hyenia,  it should not stand on its hocks. Its upper stifles or lower rear legs should not have the length of bridge spans, nor should the dog have a camel back or a roached back, or stand in a  turtle type of posture.  That turtle posture does not speak of nobility, nor does it have the look of eagles. It has the look of a hunchback! UGH! ALL, IMHO, are equal deformitities. That roach back of the German dogs, supposedly for strength, is  fine in a fixed object, such as a bridge, but in a living creature serves to pinch the nerves as they come back together over the hump and go down to the rear.  There has to be a happy medium.  IMHO, the standard is too broad to be of any real value, and its interpretations on both sides of the ocean prove my point. Sad.... on both sides of the coin. I love this breed, but watch, in horror as both sides stretch the standard beyond what it was written to acomplish. JMHO, of course..

Was the dog Woodside Pacino shown

Unfortunately, the FCI will only recognize the AKC , no other registry. I have not much respect for SV "VA" or AKC CH.  Both are missing the mark.

The Golden Middle does not benefit this working breed.

Hard-pressed to call the American GSD not a german shpherd since the pedigree points to the heritage. But in form and function they don't pass the mustard IMO

I have often thought about firing a blank pistol at a specialty show,  hmmm, what would happen?

If it makes you feel better, I certainly don't consider Pacino to be ideal for the breed.  I didn't like Gennie or Geneva either.  Now Tena...Tena I liked
