Bazza -- I've been here a lot longer than you think.   Hodie went away for awhile and then she came back under the pretext of needing to get rid of some dogs.... but, she immediately went into "attack mode" and put-downs on another poster.   She and others will get back what they spew.   .....as for you, Shove It !!

Maggie I concur on that Hodie post! I was curious about all the concilitory remarks others made about her value to this board and was feeling concerned about her. However when I read some of her posts after her return I simply shook my head and realized why those such as sue sue and others were so sad she left! She turned out to be just another of the slurr slingers. Even hurling insults at some I consider above reproach! Still a shame such a noble dog would have such pieces of shit for owners!

Read this legal brief if you want the truth about what's in the new H1N12 vaccine and why it is dangerous to your health.

A creationist accusing others of being "blind followers".....funny!

Anyway, people have stated why they will or will not be vaccinated.  Nothing anyone says here is going to change anyone else's mind, but is food for thought and I think it has all been said.

zdog,

I could care less whether you or anyone else chooses to take any type of vaccine, but at least stop showing your complete ignorance of the history of disease and medicine in this country and the world and get your facts straight. It is a complete disservice to suggest that polio was innocuous. I suggest you read more about the history of the disease. Just because I suspect you are young, and therefore have no understanding of history on this subject, I will post something that will enlighten you. Polio remains a serious threat in many parts of the world.

complete ignorance huh?  May I suggest that it is actually you that need the enlightening and to read up on your history.  Nothing I said was untrue.  It is an absolute fact that only a percents of a percent that were infected with the virus developed paralytic polio.  it is also a fact that around 95% of those infected have no stymptoms at all and between 4 and 5 % had some symptoms similiar to cold and flu.

And for those not able to connect dots, polio is a problem in areas of the world with dirty water supplies and usually spike with famine or other natural disasters.  hardly a suprise.

Further, you are misinformed about the process of vaccine manufacturing, and what is and is not added and is or is not PROVEN to be of harm.

I am?  How so? and more importantly how do you arrive at that conclusion?  and I'm pretty sure hg whether ethyl or methyl Hg has pretty much been proven to be a pretty potent neurotoxin.  So has aluminum.  I'm pretty sure it's also been proven that certain mitochondrial deficiencies are more suceptible towards exposure to those toxins and though most of us can tolerate the load in a vaccine, some can't.

Regardless of those reasons, i'd really love to see just one piece of evidence to suggest getting a swine flu vaccine is A: a good idea, and B: that it will do what they claim it will do.

Lastly, you demonstrate a complete misunderstanding of the ethical, and legal implications facing any firm who should decide to manufacture a vaccine for use in this country, including a vaccine for a bioterrorist weapon that might be developed. If I thought you wanted to learn to think critically about this and other subjects, I would suggest additional resources for you to review before you continue to embarrass yourself with ignorant comments such as what you made above.
Ok, i'm embarassing myself.  but again, what did I say that was false.  Are you saying that manufacturers can be held liable
As for understanding why any influenza virus is of great concern, I suggest you educate yourself about what happened with the 1918 virus.
And I would suggest you educate yourself as to what else was happening in 1918.  It might lend a little insight as to why a deadly pandemic occured at that period in time.  It's very similiar to any of the other deadly pandemics recorded in history
