Being honest doesn't mean you're not ignorant and inhumane.

All pups are wanted if you put your mind to it.
If they do not sell rather way at 8 weeks; keep them, train them, sell them later. If you are not prepared to do this, do not breed .

I agree with anyone who feels responsible for their animals and does whatever is needed to care for them properly.
I do not however believe in shelters, thats not what I consider responsibility.
I did not start this because I was having doubts, I was just looking at a discussion of the topic.

This is one reason why I would not be able to breed because I can't guarantee that every single pup would be placed. I would def. not give one for free even for a family member (if they are not ready to pay up they are not ready to swallow additional costs that will come after I place the dog). I will PTS if I can't keep it, but than if I can't keep it I don't breed, so it is never ending circle ;). Moons you need to wait it out, work the dog in mean time after the summer you might find someone would love to have already house broken pup ;). Good luck.

And yes I am the SOB that would pts that pup just so I could remeber in the future why I should not breed.

Uber Land

If I have a litter and am stuck with a pup or two after everyone goes home,  I generally drop the price to find it a suitable home instead of hanging on to the pup longer to get the full price.  I would much rather lose money and get that pup a home than to hold out for 6-8 months for the full sell price.

The two pups I have are doing fine, one is mine.
They are already being socialized and get the best of care.
I just wanted something else to talk about today......Geez.

LOL the post about giving the pup for free to a family member.... I didn't approve my OWN MOTHER for a pup. and she was willing to pay for one.

Well no sense in putting to sleep a perfectly good puppy is there . Look at Annie Oakly she is blind and found a good home .

You are right Wuzzup...Annie is very lucky to have found a wonderful and loving home, and from the pictures and posts she is thriving. But the sad truth is so many don't.

If someone wrote/called me and told me that if I end up with a deaf/blind/white spotted pup, they wanted to adopt it. I would let them. The pup would be altered before leaving my home though. And I honestly don't think I would hold on to it otherwise.
