Two Moons

Windwalker,
He looks rotten already....lol
I can tell your excited, hurry Saturday !
I think he's a lucky boy, handsome too.

SitasMom,
Thank you..
I sound like the proud father, except they aren't my genes..lol

michael49,
What I have seen of her brother I really like, he is handsome and seems to be calm and well mannered yet very serious.
He is polite without being overly friendly, I had to be close to him during breeding which is always a concern with any stud and did not have a problem, still I know he would take me down on command.
He has been very well trained.
I'd love to see another picture of Jodi if you could post one sometime.

Micheal49,
She is really beautiful.
Pups look great too, including the black.
I'm not really partial to any certain color or markings, just what my eye sees and likes.
Thats a good shot of her in the shade,
Thanks for showing her to me.

I just thought I'd bump this up before I go,
I've got one female left to find a home for, between the economy and the time of year its been much more difficult this time around.
I did however get my own puppy this time which makes it all worthwhile.
Now I have a lot of work ahead of me training another pup, at least I have learned a few new things here on the database.
I know a lot of folks also have new puppies and to them I wish all the best.

MaggieMae,
I have no set rule,   I sometimes wet it just to change the smell and texture.
I sometimes get it very wet and let it soften, or add water because I have added other extras to the mix.
If I'm going to be away for a day I leave it dry and they will eat it slower at their own pace and give them a larger water bowl.
Normally they use a one gallon water bowl and its freshened twice a day, sometimes three times a day in hot weather.
When I'm going away I give them a three gallon bowl because I won't be here to freshen it up.
Shade is important, food and water must not be out in the hot sun.
Wetter food makes softer stools and thats to be expected.
Moons.
