Don´t know much about trees, student, but in my world I am the one who manages the handler´s behavior... Wink Smile

I guess it´s more or less useless to discuss the behavior of a dog we never have seen, although I tend to agree with training faults ( too much too soon, no structure ) and a puppy in a lot of drive, not able to "distinguish" any more.

A lot of very prey driven dogs act like that, doesn´t need to have to do anything with handler agression.
Anybody ever tried to kick away a sleeve from a highly loaded dog?
Just watch your legs... learning by doing...

Mithuana, may it be possible that the pup in question is a prey monster, whereas your dog still isn´t very interested in the sleeve, but in the threat? Just a guess

My dog will take the sleeve from me but with anyone else she wants the person not the sleeve.

Dog can't think susie is right and I said it in an early post over run by drive analysis this all you want but that's the facts

Sounds like too much being done to a 5 month old puppy. play, imprint, bond teach focus, recalls outs and biting will come. No pressure and make him think he is king of the world, build confidence. If he is solid it will all be good.
