1020ma - if you're right, a lot of my hip readings are off. The yellow line to me is well "above" where I look to try to read hip xrays.

Well the yellow line is above what I examined. I put it above because I didn't want to cover up the remodeling sight.

Hips and elbows look fine, even though the structure of pelvis and bone reminds me more of a bulldog than a GSD. There is no remodeling of the right socket; a slight differentiation between sockets is normal. The depth of the socket is measured by drawing a line between the visible edges of the acetabulum top to bottom; it should cover approximately half of the ball.

Thank you Elkoorr. I didn't see want 1020ma was seeing and neither did the two vets that looked at the films.
Trace has really big  mussles for his age so it was hard for them to get it prefect even tho he was sedated. I work for this vet and I  was there helping.
