I do not/nor have I ever demanded respect for any group.  You are delusional. But if the non-believers want to post I sure am not stopping them because if I did I would have to stop the believers. Religion was one subject I did not want discussed in OT but I was talked out of disallowing it, all religion does is drive a wedge in between people, like what has happened here. It will continue because you have the extremists on both sides.

Lets get one thing straight - I believe in a higher power just not in this God who has everyone living in fear, nor in a God who judges everything I do or say. I live life to its fullest and if my God wants to punish me in the end so be it. I am sorry I can't believe in a God who would kill everyone on the face of the earth, to me this sounds really messed up. Think about it. Plus the time lines do not mesh so something is seriously wrong with the whole stinking story that the bible wants people to believe, you see it you just refuse to believe it and continue to try and make it work.

Actually, I think banning religion topics in the OT is not a bad idea. You had suggested a separate forum for them, once upon a time. It was not recepted well at that time, but that might have changed by now? More than a few folks have evolved over time.  (That was a joke!) And just to be clear, in making my comment, I was in no way, shape or form challenging your authority to do any changes as you say, without consulting Oli.

What the hell are you talking about? I just wrote my position on religion and it is not on either side. It is more in the middle. You are twisting again and making things up. If I say no religious talk then how is that being on one side or the other or going against my beliefs? SMH.

That has no bearing on your blatant disrespect -your choice, doesn't bother me. You think religion as a topic creates issues between members, get rid of it.  Issues though? Really, the two members I can think of who start the vast majority those threads seem to find some enjoyment in harassing each other, but I could be wrong entirely.

IMO, the statements you have made about God and Christianity are disrespectful to any and all who hold that faith. Don't want to extend that measure of respect to people as people, I suppose that's your business.

 I'm not sure what you're getting at, or what it has to do with religion or anything else.

It is also disrespectful to laugh at someone who relates an experience in a near death situation.

i disrespected Christians because I said the truth, they have in the past slaughtered and conquered. Treated woman badly and have a horrible reputation against minorities, wow hate on me for telling the truth.
