There are more regulations and speed limits on the Autobahn than on US Interstates .. just more complicated rules requiring better educated and proficient drivers. Most people think the Autobahn has no speed limits which is false .. many areas have speed limits on maximum speed and of course the minimum speed to be in the right lane and on the Autobahn at all is a minimum speed limit. Trucks and heavy commercial vehicles have speed limits and many heavy traffic areas have speed limits for all vehicles. The larger, heavier and more dangerous to public safety vehicles such as trucks are strictly controlled on the Autobahn. On the Autobahn you will likely never see a large commercial truck pass you at 160 KPH but you will in parts of the American West. The primary difference between the Autobahn and US interstates is that the Autobahn is better maintained and there are speed cameras to catch speeders as well as the average German driver on the Autobahn is driving a well maintained and inspected automobile and is both better trained and a better driver than the average US driver. Freedom to drive fast on the Autobahn comes with the price of more stringent driver licensing and auto inspections, mandatory tire standards ( S rated tires ), cameras monitoring and enforcing speeds, and more regulations not less than in the US Interstate system. On the contrary the US has a gun ownership and use system that has lax and few rules to control access, education, proficiency, or enforcement of gun use. An Autobahn type rule and enforcement system in the USA for guns would be a breath of fresh air. And then there is the fact that even in Germany when you leave the Autobahn driving 160 KPH the driver may drop to 60 KPH or 40 KPH within a few hundred meters to follow speed laws which protect the citizens of the local village. The freedom to drive flat out on the Autobahn is free from neither costs or strict regulation. In Germany one does not color outside the lines without someone noticing and the nail that sticks up gets hammered down. Freedom in Germany is tightly regulated but applies to all wheras many freedoms in the USA are for sale only. The German system does not feel as free as in the USA but it is fairer and more equally applied to all.

Wow Germany sounds like utopia they can race cars real fast down the road. Need a ticket? Im trying to think back in history.... Isn't that one of the last societies that gave up their arms in exchange for the utopia, that was called Nazi.... Then required the Americans and many other nations to sacrifice some of our/their best, who incidentally I guess BOO bought that right buying their freedom", to intervene and die and stop the mess they.... the Germans............. where no longer able to control.
Besides terrific long winded nonsense about the freedom to drive fast would you be so kind as to add any real un fantasied data that relates to this horse shite posted above "a gun ownership and use system that has lax and few rules to control access, education, proficiency, or enforcement of gun use" California my home state has some of the strictest control at its disposal on the books, how did that work recently lets start their.... You next, I provided mine that shows your comment is full of it.
70-85 Million people died because Germans let there guard down and fell for Nazi utopia and happily gave up there only mechanism to stop a rouge regime. Im glad people can buy rope and not guns or perceive safety in university while comfortably mocking 128 Million armed Americans. I can assure you the discussion among those mocked is almost never about the freedom to carry a gun its almost always about the choice to never repeat everyone else's mistake. Mock that.
Capeesh...

''Maybe not this year or next but I can guarantee at least one person will be shot to death by those same hunters owning legal guns who can't control themselves in a domestic, workplace or emotional situation. Take it to the bank.''
Common sense, not your forte.

It still doesn't say or mean your guns will be taken away, what it means is just because someone is a hunter they won't murder someone, no way did I say ALL guns should be illegal. Matter of fact I have never said ALL guns should be illegal, ever. Common sense, try comprehension first.
You want to start screaming Nazi, you go ahead and try and stop a rogue regime with your itty bitty guns and they will find you splattered all over, it is non-sense to even think your collective guns are going to stop missiles and modern weapons. Really silly to even suggest such a thing. I bet the racist bigot Trump is your man, he actually has more in common with nazis than anyone suggesting or advocating gun control. Fact!

That post was in reference to common sense or lack there of and not ownership. Im not screaming anything. Its tiring always hearing the programmed talking points... and not easy to say it so nicely, always. The parallels are all wrong in the boo's post theres no data to suggest that the lawful 128 million americans should be punished or further restricted or tested because of terrorism. In fact many sheriffs are calling for more open carry more concealed carry right in there jurisdiction. Understanding the issue clear... terrorism bad. Criminal bad. Solution armed good people.
Many people talk/talked about there enjoyment for lack of firearms this thread and others. That example is one of the worst of such repercussion and the goal of every rouge leader. Its a game changer armed citizenry, common sense dictates that. So a bit more complicated then splat.
Trump? Good lord you poor lost child. Trump is your best friend in whole world, he's there to help Hellary and the Clinton crime family back into Emperor position. You truly have no idea. Trump and the Clintons are best of friends. He is crashing the party. You should be grateful not demonizing him he is your parties operative. But your hatred for him is part of the game your involved iin.

"Would you like a round of applause ? Or an argument ? You won't get either from me.'
No, that would be silly.
' Terrorists can strike anywhere, as can nutcases with guns, regardless of gun laws.'
That was my point, thank you.
'All I am saying is I am thankfull I live in a place where I can sleep easy at night, without the need for a gun under my pillow."
So do I sleep easy at night and without the need for a gun under my pillow. Is that the propaganda you's guys are fed about living in the US?And I'll bet you the people in Paris used to sleep easy at night as well.
Btw. Itty bitty guns stopped the terrorists in Paris cold. Same for the slime ball terrorists in San Bernadino.

The point is - common sense says that at least 1 of those hunters who was brought up at the beginning of this thread will not only kill a deer this year but will also take a human life. That is the point, the numbers are just not in your favor on the matter.

So very true. But they can't see the forest for the trees even when it's pointed out to them.
