So not every Muslim is an extremist? We agree, so if every Muslim is not an extremist then it stands to reason that every Muslim who believes in Islam is not violent? Right. Then you say that Islam is a violent religion at the same you say extremism is the cause. So, what is it? Are you saying Muslims are okay as long as they don't become extreme? Or are you saying all of Islam is violent? Because I am here to tell you Christians now a days may be peaceful but in the past it wasn't so. If they were Christians and extreme and were killing say atheists would that somehow be okay?
If you talk to some Islamics they would tell you their God is not about violence, similar to what Christians say about their God. But both the bible and the Quran are both somewhat violent.

So why is the soldier dead?

by GSD Admin on 23 October 2014 - 15:10
Same reasons many native Americans died. Same reasons witches were killed. Do I need to go further back in history?

by Mountain Lion on 23 October 2014 - 15:10
I would like to hear in your own words why you think the soldier is dead.

I would like to hear in your words why native Americans and plenty of others are dead.

As most of the 'extremists' who kill and bomb, whether converts, or brought up in Islam, are young men,
IMO I strongly suspect that it is violence first, religious commitment second with them. Who heads the
crime stats ? Who is most crime commtted against ? Who is responsible for more road deaths, DUIs, and
speeding fines than any other sub category of the population ?
I wonder if house arrests and curfews ought to be imposed on ALL males between say 20 and 30 yrs old.

Not the worst idea...

You can't be that far out of touch with reality.
You want to use age discrimination and sex discrimination and profiling? Good luck!
Maybe we can have Islamic extremist behead them and say it's because of the treatment to Native Americans and witches.
Better yet who was in America before the so called American Indians? Or did they just evolve here. Did they migrate over here, who did they replace the Incas? Who did they slaughter? If no one was settled here, then what right did the Native Americans have to take over the land from the Deer, Cayotes, Buffalo, Wolves etc.
Didn't the Witches take over the land of the American Indians? If so, they should have been burned at the stake.
Lets justify all the screwballs in the world.

Talk about reality.

RS, I've got news for you, all religions are violent, with the rare exception of Jainism and very few others. Throughout history, more blood has been shed in the name of religion than anything else, including natural disasters. You claim to know the Bible back to front and you don't see the violence there? Where do you think the KKK gets their "morality"? Why do you think the Crusades happened? This is precisely what I've been trying to say through all of the ugliness that's become "us and them". That's exactly what Chrisitianity does, it is NOT a religion of peace, it is a religion of power, force, intimidation and when all else fails, violence. The only reason we don't have Christian viloence is due to our secular laws. If not for those, we would be no different, but the terrorists would be Christian. Look at the early history where Christianity attempted to take a foothold through Puritanism, have you ever looked at what was involved? Was that not Christianity?
Think about that, really. Look at the push to make everybody here adhere to Christianity and look at the venom from you and other Christians to thsoe who simply disagree with their theology and prefer to live without it in our lives. Why? Why can't you just let others live as they wish? Why do you need compliance from those who don't follow your path? Why do you insist that our laws follow Biblical laws? Are you starting to understand, just a bit?
