Eat slowly - take at least 30 mins over the meal

Start with a small salad and low fat dressing to fill your stomach

When one goes out to eat, share an appetizer and an entree

Keep a food diary for the first couple of weeks - you'd be amazed at how many calories one really eats

Eat six meals/snacks a day - small quantities so that you keep your metabolism active

Exercise every day - even if it is only walking
