so anyhoo, how is this law telling the church what to do. seems like a simple enough question to answer.

"Separation of church and state" (sometimes "wall of separation between church and state") is a phrase used by Thomas Jefferson and others expressing an understanding of the intent and function of the Establishment Clause and Free Exercise Clauseof the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States. Reggie you need to do some research on this, go look at the crime rtes, standard of living, literacy levels, education standards...any other measure of general well being for all nations, you might get a shock that your hypothesis is factually incorrect.

 

the most religious countries are suffering the most and creating their own hell on earth, the most liberal and atheist countries are actually doing much better on all measures, start your research with northern europe, then compare to more religous countries ie, amerca (north & south), middle east etc and make your own conclusion based on actual evidence.

I don't know, I wasn't aware that it had to change.

The State has no right telling the Church how to run...and visa versa

^ your examples occurred prior to this new law, how did this new law, the topic under discussion, "tell" the church it has to do anything, did it mention any specific church and what the church should do to change, new more gay friendly decor?

Reggie you are now saying it is not liberalism that has the effect on morals it is actually surface area of a country?
