what could be wrong with dog to bite at any age?
isn't that's main purpose for any carnivore?
there above was not bad advice to employ hunt drive. chase on the ground the tug, tied to long stick and then let her to fight for it in the lowest possible position.
see how she would act.
and again, do it without helper.

Some dogs you are able to train in bite work as soon as they are able to move ( most often the mainly prey driven dogs ), with some dogs you have to wait until they are mature enough ( most often the mainly civil dogs ), and sometimes it makes sense to change the routine, and that's what I would do right now.
This female is in the wrong drive, no matter what, and the tug seems to be the trigger. Put away the trigger, and make the decoy become the prey. No bites until she is in the correct drive, be it hunt, prey, defense, but no sexual excitement any more. This dog is not sure about what it is doing right now, be it because of genetics, be it because of training, or be it because of hormones.
As long as you use the tug she will continue to show the already manifested behavior.
A couple of weeks, even a couple of months, doesn't matter during that age.

But that's what I like about dog training- every dog is unique, and the handler has to find the best way ...

though i agree, every dogs has own personality and need be worked out based on it.
in this particular case i still objecting decoy help.
one dog acts on identical irritant but from master and "stranger" differently.
6 month is old enough to distinguish who is who.

@ Valk well I have seen plenty dogs destroyed by bitework when they teething....
After teething many dogs are sensitive @ 6-7 or 8 months and than some stupid people let them bite on the hard sleeve or.on a hard KNPV suit what is made from thick hard leather and jute.
But who am I to justice what is good or wrong..

i have seen the pups with weak bite and the owners, who tried to improve it and in process, as you said "destroyed" them.
but i never seen the pup, with good full mouth grip, that lost their good bite, even being "destroyed" by bad handling.
if bite is not there, no one can imprint it in the dog artificially. if someone claims to do this, it's just flat lie.

There is big difference between a full grip than let a dog who is changing teeth and is sensitive....
some dogs from that age will never bite again when they have some pain.... full grip or not have nothing to do with grips....
Only with stupid people who don,t understand this.
