Prager

I think that twisting of the neck is caused by the helper and not by the sleeve . That is if the sleeve is used as a sleeve.  I am not commenting on using the sleeve backwards as a tug and at this time have no negative opinion on either  I think any tool can be used correctly and incorrectly. And it would need to be proven that nature of the sleeve would cause a damage even so it is used correctly. and I do not see that here.

Prager, this sleeve was built because you are able to use it NOT as a sleeve but like a toy. As soon as you use it as a toy it´s more than dangereous ( not talking about the reinforcement of prey drive right now / that´s good enough for a different thread ...) Used as a toy there is no stability any more.

The helperwork is another story - you are able to work a dog spectacular, and you are able to work a dog safe - I am for the safe version, but I´m just a woman, no helper  Shades Smile

Hans yr suggestion that it is somehow the consumers job to prove a product is unsafe is as irresponsible as it is ignorant.

try and work out why yourself. hint start with hmmm i dunno seat belt manufacture or birth control pills. i am sure you will get it.

Check out any Vit Glisnik video on YouTube. They use the half sleeve very well. Don't see them harming dogs. Like any tool it's all in how you use it.

vk4gsd. What are you talking about? "that it is somehow the consumers job to prove a product is unsafe

If you cut your self with knife whose fault is it? Knife's? Of if you drive a car into the wall is it a car's fault?

If you do not use a sleeve properly and dog is injured it is a sleeve's fault? No of course it is not.

I have watched the video very carefully and I have said that if the sleeve is used as a sleeve and not as a toy then I do not see a problem and if it is used  as a toy I can not say. I have said that if the equipment is used correctly I do not see any problem.   What is wrong with that?

To use your examples.  If you use seat belt improperly and get injured is it a seat belts fault? Or if you put birth control pills in your husband's mouth instead of yours is it a pills fault that you got pregnant?   Not in my world.

And you have to pass a drivers licence test to drive a car and driving into walls is generally not covered. car manufacturers spend billions in safety research. police enforce driving laws. doctors prescribe pills and drug companies spend billions on clinical tests.

dog products, make a neat you tube clip and hit the market with it.

yep comparable much.

Here is a video of Vit Glisnik utilizing a short sleeve, just like ramgsd said, I see nothing wrong with it. He sets down this dog nicely, no different than with a sleeve with the upper attached.

You can only do so much to protect the world from the stupid people. You can hurt a dog with a tug, a leash, colar.... any number of things if you don't know how to use them.
