Joanro is WRONG - Page 2

I've seen that video at least a dozen times.. he beats the crap out of the guitar...and some of he performances he's picking with his teeth. Goofy stuff, but obvious he was flying high.

I started watching his videos about five years ago...I've seen most of them at least a dozen times. When he cleaned up, he was still fabulus....did not need the drugs to perform.

No. He didn't "need" them. I know a lot of people think that these guys play bombed all the time, but that isn't true. Playing drunk is impossible. Rumors of Hendrix putting LSD in his bandana are a joke. Once your dexterity diminishes, you're done. SRV had a problem with drinking and Coke. Would wake up in the morning and put a gram in his coffee. Think Starbucks is expensive? Thats probably a $100 cup of Jo.

 I don't study why people use drugs, I just know how it destroys lives.
I rather focus on his talent.

I can't stand SRV. But that is me and my tastes. BTW, seen a lot of concerts this year and the best had to be Lynyrd Skynyrd so far, although I do have one more concert to see this year and they are one of the hottest bands out right now so my rankings might change. We like to do 4 to 6 concerts a year for old times sake.

They made #1 on the top ten best guitar solos of all time 🎸🤗 ,,,,, I’ll look for the video and post it! 

 

Here is the top 10 greatest guitar solos! Lynyrd Skynyrd is not the first it is actually Pink Floyd ~ oops,,, but they made the cut! Slash is was third ,,,,

 

Horrible list. Not just the players, but they didn't pick the best solos per each player and a couple of versions of the songs were bad.
