Living Fence, funny you mention that. We actually met Carma and her owner at the show in November.
Tesla on the left, Carma on the right. I've been following Alexis and Carma since she got her! Amazing dog and handler.
Ibrahim, thank you for the critique, pretty spot on with the judges critiques. Yes I can post them!
USCA 2015 Sieger Show Critique - "A dark sable, female, excellent pigmentation, excellent constructive head, high withers in stand, very harmonious top and bottom line, slightly steep croup, upper arm in good position should be longer, correct angulation front and rear, and good developed fore chest, slightly short under chest, moves straight in in rear going and coming - Very Promising for the future".
North Central Regional Conformation Critique - "I heard this is only a WL but the dog is very very nice looking, she has a very good expression, and I know the color, pigment and the type is very often a meta of taste and it is my taste, but I like this when they are looking a little over middle size and they are looking very feminine, dark eyes, have really dark pigment, color, and she has very good top line, and also the underline is in good harmony, the back angulation is very good. She's very straight, the pastern could have a little more angle (I think?) - they are also very straight. The upper arm could be a little longer. But in all she is gaiting okay, and she makes a very nice impression so she has a very good today."
I just want to say, we havent really practiced for shows, so she still needs some ring practice. Shes just used to being stacked.

Many of the terms used to describe conformation in dogs are taken from the Old World terms used to describe horses, especially the hunter/jumper types.

Ah! I got it now, thanks for explaining it. I only knew it in regard to the lips vs having loose or wet lips.
Well, glad I have a dry bitch! haha. She's definitely toned, not an ounce of fat on her. My family always yells at me thats she's too skinny, but she's IMO in phenomenal shape and very lean and well muscled. She's a crazy athletic bitch though, she does her own agility on walks/runs all the time (hops fences, scales high walls, leaps over shit...) This dog is crazy! In a good way. Very happy go lucky attitude, yet very serious. Loves to work with me. Loves to learn. Learns SO easily. Very VERY stable temperament (I live in downtown Chicago, so...lots going on - nothing phases her). I love this girl so much!
Excited for what 2016 brings us, I've had a bit of set back the latter half of this year, she should have some obedience titles on her and what not...but oh well. I have stuff lined up for 2016 already.! If she gets her titles and passes her health certs, the breeders want a litter out of her.
She was their pick of the litter, I feel blessed to have such a special girl. And that they trusted me to train and show her and title her.
