I have great neighbors, we all pitch in and help each other. I once had a drunk across the street and she was an issue, along with her daughter. I actually liked her when she wasn't drinking, but when she was.... whoa. Anyway, both she and her daughter are dead, guess their lifestyle wasn't exactly healthy. Sadly, the daughter left two young children behind and her sister is now alone in the world. Funny, I almost miss the drunken brawls, just because she was a good neighbor on a good day, makes me sad.

I get along with most of them really well, it's only been one or two who have caused me problems, not the other way around.
Hell I even got along with this guy until he turned on me like a junkyard dog.
I had no neighbors at all for some thirty odd years, I miss that.
It's rare and your lucky if you have good neighbors.

I've owned this place for 23 years and I lived here before it was leased. I'm happy to be back, most of the neighbors are the same, except for the two rentals (they always were, still the same owner) and the ones across the street that died. A young Russian couple with two kids moved in over there, they're not real friendly, but they're not bad neighbors either, they keep to themselves. My youngest daughter lives two doors away, where a friend of mine used to live and we bought it when my friend moved. Our daughter was our tenant and she bought it from us about five years ago. We were just talking about that the other day, how she used to babysit in her house, LOL. And the families in the rentals are okay by me, they keep their places clean and that's really all that matters. The guy down at the end loves to cook and he has three grills in his back yard, so there's always a party when the weather allows. My next door neighbor mows my lawn in the summer and I shovel her driveway in the winter. She's also single and she also likes to cook, so we exchange leftovers on a regular basis too. We keep giving the same container back and forth, it works :)

Oh I've had GOOD neighbours, at the same time as the bad ones.
Always used to live in rental and/or multi-occupied property (before
I got the live-in job), so there were plenty of nice people around. That
just didn't actually help against one household spoiling my 'quiet enjoyment'
of the apartment I was in, multiple times in multiple locations. Sometimes
the good neighbours suffered too.
