Looks like the owner has had the dog euthanized.

There is nothing anyone can say that can justify that dog's savage attack on the poor kid.  No bleary-eyed liberal or any other freakish peta nere-do-well can possibly come up with a slime-covered single reason to justify allowing that dog one more minute on this earth.  In like manner, the owners of that dog need to get their wallets out because the courts will and should eat them alive for their unconscionable lack of control and training of that savage dog. 

In my 70 years on this earth, I have owned at least 50-60 German Shepherd Dogs and I have never had one bite a human being except in controlled training or competition environments.
