guys...you're all being irrational and absurd. Hunter's suggestion is NOT off base. We comment on dogs, bitework, conformation, ability to produce, hips, croups, etc., all the time. If you want to comment or critique, fine. So what? If it pisses somebody off, and you don't mind, so what? If you do mind, then don't comment. Just don't waste time bickering over stupidity.

For what it's worth coming from a GSD novice at her first NASS, I liked Helen Gleason's bitch, Funny v Altenberger Land, and the male, I-kon von Olympus. I don't mean to take anything away from any of the other dogs, there were others that did a great job. These 2 just stand out in my mind for some reason. Also Karo, the demo dog was great. Not only a good performance, but a wonderful looking dog as well. Not really sure what to look for, but these dogs seemed to take their work very seriously while others looked more like they were playing with a tug rather than trying to bring down the bad guy or protect their person LOL.

LOL Hunter, you say you are asking in regard to planning a breeding right? are you referring to Niemand like in your other post or was there a different male you are inquiring about? again, you might want to get the DVD, thats what i will do as i missed most of the males bitework, i had my own dog i had to focus on. 50.00 is all the DVD costs, no need to get pissy about it :) you missed the part of my post where i was being very kind and helpful, now i am not in as good of a mood so i will fill you in on something, owning, breeding and showing dogs costs money, if you cannot afford a 50.00 DVD you may want to change your mind about breeding... JMO PS I missed the attack ...at least this time it has nothing to do with me or my dogs lmao Dawnmarie

Doesn't look like were any males in bold at all...

by Grum_Majestat on 20 October 2005 - 04:10

I will say Fox Bildiece, I-kon and Urban and Steve Haus's male all stuck out to me. The Females were very impressive as Martha previuosly stated.
