tigermouse, my vet was confident that he did not need the tli test based on the symptoms he displayed. He is still very active, the diarrhea stopped quite a while back.
Mum of Zoe, I think you are right - he is kinda making up for lost time in terms of food consumption. He is not overweight but neither is he thin. We have my daughter's dog staying with us for a while and with the increased activity - with them both running around the yard playing - he is burning off a lot of that extra energy.

That's great news, KTF! Having a doggie buddy to wear him out would definitely contribute to his increased appetite.
