Quartz is known for producing excellent working abilities. Gucchi is an example. Karl Heinz Fuller is the owner of the Zellergrund Kennel in Schweinfurt Germany. He has a website. His recent breedings from the Quartz line include two up and coming males. Ronaldo and Rocky vom Zellergrund. These males are just two years old. Pups should be arriving in about 8 weeks. Rocky was bred 5 times last month and Ronaldo was bred 7.

I see strong pigment and good anatomy in Ronaldo, but I think that could be contributed to Larus. I don't know what age he was when the photo was taken (obviously young) but does appear to lack substance and masculinity, he takes after the Ursus line, will probably be a bit late in maturing. No picture of Rocky.

Hunter, That's a pretty fair assesment. Picture was taken the Sunday of the sieger show in Karlsruhe shortly after his class finished. He's still young looking. He's an interesting combination of a strong fatherline (without the typical traits Larus is known to produce) and the Quartz line working ability. Picture of Rocky is on the vom Zellergrund website.

That Ronaldo sure is doing good in the USA. What happened to the other dogs after him? Blown out of the races? Why is it some import comes in takes front place and we never here again about our homegrown runners up. Zeke Who?
