The area where the ligaments are connecting, I don't consider a "flat" spot. And that isn't used in determination of how well the joint fits together. The depth isn't bad, could maybe be better, but how old are Malamutes before they mature? I have no idea. I have seen lots of young dogs really tighten up as they maure (in reference to the "wiggly bum")

In the first video the dog travels normally behind. He bunny hops ONLY on take off and that is 100% normal as he is using both legs to push off and get up to speed. After he gets going, he separated his hind feet normally in the gallop pace.
In the second video he does wiggle his butt.. but mostly because he is a bit bow legged at the hock, not because he is dysplastic.
I do not see dysplasia here at all.
