I didn't know that about Amazing Grace.  That song still gives me shivers, I absolutely love it. - Especially when Divo sings it.

El el el why have you forsaken me??  the debt was paid!  the bond broken! the law was satisfied! Gods Justice was executed upon himself!  to pay the penalty of sin (disobedience & unbeleif) the offender must die  !  God shed his own blood  and died in the flesh to  satisfy his  holy judgement  upon sin!  Jesus Christ( god in the flesh) died  phyisically in the flesh to pay our sin debt!  For those who do  not beleive and repent the penaly of death and Gods wrath rest upon their heads!

My question is, If we live our life like it is wrote in the bible about Jesus we are doing it right?

So going fishing, drinking wine, and hanging out with whores is good?

Christ cast out 7 evil spirits and in firmities,Mary called Magdaline, out of whom went 7 devils.
Christ did not keep company witith her before the demons were cast out.
After the demonds were cast out of her,Mary became a follower of Christ.
Mary Magdalene was the first person at Jesus tomb  John 20:1
Mary Magdaline and Mary were the first to proclaim the resurrection Matt. 28:8

gouda you are correct. I was just wondering how many hypocrites where going to jump on that. Does it say in the bible that in order to belive in the lord that we have to go to church and put money in when they pass the plate? Or is that what we as modern man made it to be?

Hi Fag2

The gift of eternal life is yours..by acceptance of Jesus Christ in your heart as your personal saviour and Lord. The wages you have earned as a sinner is death;but the gift which God will give to you if you repent of your sins and turn to Him in faith is eternal life.
Dont fear coming to God,for Jesus has promised, Him that cometh unto me shall in no wise be cast out John 6:37.

p.s. No you do not have to go to church, and pass the plate,to be saved.
But it is a wise thing to be in the company of other true Christians.  And it is also wise to help the financial burden of preaching the gospel across the world.,AND HELP THE PEOPLE IN NEED.
