My car is back to being her loving self after that lil hiccup.  150K miles and only problem I have had (knock on wood) is a fuel pump = im getting my money's worth out of her.
I refuse to buy another car.  Im am driving her until the wheels fall off.  A friend asked em why don't I buy a new car.  I told him that if I can't find a "new/untouched" woman (not saying I want that) then there is no need for me to have a "new/untouched" car.  Let someone else take the depreciation hit.  I'll come around 4 years later and then buy it.  I don't think I will ever pay over $20k for a car.  Just a waste of money.

Yeah I know.....I'm cheap.

Barak fell in line when a female came in the house......  I keep my boys  "happy"

I had the WORST lunch at the Olive Garden.  normally service is good but today was downright horrible.

So bad I went online and hit the "Contact Us" button and put in a complaint.  If I don't get a response, im calling the location to speak to the manager.

Though for the day:

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that the buck stops here - instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better."

Dinner.

I want to eat out tonight. DH is currently buying a used LandRover with 114K miles on it. We think it will be a great learning car for when my eldest son learns to drive. When he gets back, he can take us all out to .... DINNER!

This pioneering stuff is stressful. I told those kids to get the leaves out of the pool, but I'm sure there are some still there. ... I want a hot tub tonight, with a clear dark sky for stars.....

My husband met with a new client this week and the following conversation occurred.

New Client: "Hey! I know you! You're that guy who is always throwing a ball at the school yard for a German Shepherd. Man- you are there every day!".

Husband: Mumbles something and then talks about work.
(Remembers when he was cool.)
