Yes, to the above! A GOOD handler who takes their obligation seriously should have the ability to be able to present the dog at ITS best. I appreciate it when handlers will work with my dog and me at least once or twice before a regular show, and more than that at a Sieger Show. This is why a person gets paid for 15 minutes of work! Blabbing with other handlers and THE JUDGE is annoying and unprofessional, and takes the focus off the dog. Standing around with the dog on the end of a leash is leaving the door open for a dogfight.

A good handler at least brings out the animal's good points and should be able to cover up the bad.
