The keurig is a single cup coffee system. There is nothing super special about it except it makes one cup at a time and you have a large selection of coffees. It is extremely consistent and the nice thing about is that every cup is hot, fresh and brewed on demand. Since it seems I only drink 1/2 pot before it is cold the Keurig is convenient. The Newman's organic Coffee is really good. I am a stickler for good coffee and beer. I have a kegorator and usually keep Sam Adams on tap or some specialty Micro Brews.
You are probably not missing anything with your system it seems pretty nice.
