Ace, I agree. Sometimes a dog will go to a new home. If that didn't happen I would not have mine. The barter part is what bothered me also.

I agree, Ace. I understand dogs are bought, sold, and re-homed every day. No problem with that. Two of my dogs are dogs that were re-homed, to me. I'm absolutely not against selling dogs that aren't the right fit. It's just the way that these dogs are advertised that bothers me. The few folks I've known that have had to re-home dogs for serious health problems did it by contacting their close friends and having those friends refer protential homes and help with the process, not making videos to advertise and steep prices and being willing to "barter".

Ace, I agree as well. I was just pointing out to what another poster wrote about GSD's adapting well. Not all do.
Anywho, the barter comment bugged me as well. There was another thing I saw that a friend would transport for a fee. A fee on top of the $3500 she wants.
I don't have an issue paying for shipment or anything. I paid to ship mine. Just the whole thing rubs me raw.
