I truly believe most decent dogs can do PP as long as the basics exist genetically, its in the training.
I agree Haz. I think back to when I started my dog in bite-work, and we had to teach my dog to bite the sleeve ONLY, for his IPO training. I feel that once we have him titled in IPO, that he will easily transition to another discipline, based on his willingness to take on the man without any equipment. That has always been his nature, and what he is genetically.

every behaviour that is trained behaviour sets you up for failure, as soon as the dog dont recognize a situation as trained,it will not be triggered and leave you hanging
very simple, every dog that bites out of preydrive, needs to recognize prey in order to bite, so no recognizable prey= no bite
many top sport people today take great pride in telling everyone that dogs dont bite for real, its only a game to them, and they are right, it is what it is
