I don't think Mitt's dog loved that crate nearly as much as those hunting dogs given he puked so much that Mitt's kid had to tell his dad that the back window was decorated with barf. Then Mitt hosed the crate down with the dog inside. It was against the law in Mass to transport a dog atop a car when Mitt did it, but he was never sited, I assume no one reported him. Did you also read his sister's story about the dog saying it was picked up by the local humane society more than once because they allowed him to roam about the neighborhood visiting his "friends"

I just don't know what sort of a person does stuff like that, but that's just me. If I saw a dog strapped on the top of a vehicle at a dog show or trial I'd not think much of that person either. I've never excused owners who allow their dogs to run at large and get picked up by the dog catcher. Doesn't  say - now there's a responsible person to me. I have to think that dog people will vote for Romney just to get Obama out of office, not necessarily because they think he is more responsible or more in touch with the real world but I could be wrong.

Yeah, pick your president based on whether he's black or not; that's a way better plan.

Love the "bike crate". When I lived in PA there was a local legend with 2 bassetts. He retrofitted a wooden platform on each side of his motorcycle and strapped one dog on each. They both wore goggles and seemed to enjoy their ride in the annual Harley parade. They looked very funny in their goggles with their ears blowing all around. If PETA would have seen that, they have gone berserk LOL.

Keith, I hate to even think that would influence anyone, but I know it does happen. Anyone who thinks racism is dead and buried in the US just isn't paying attention or is in denial. It's a stage 4 cancer here in the Tampa Bay area, mostly older well to do folks who own 3, 4 homes all over the country and who spend 100K on a gun, 50K on a golf cart without blinking an eye but who won't donate one dollar to a food bank. There are some young guys here who are still riding around in pu's with confederate flags on their rear windows and those high class faux testicles swinging from their trailer hitches. However, most of the younger and the more educated people I know don't think that way.

"However, most of the younger and the more educated people I know don't think that way"

Whenever someone says, "I'm not book smart but I am street smart," all I hear is, "I'm not real smart but I am imaginary smart."

People in their fifties and sixties lived in some very good times. People were polite, most believed in God and went to church, they/we found that hard work and EARNING a living gave you a sense of pride and the value of money, and we looked down at the lazy. Do you understand the meaning of the word "enable"? And, most important................remember that it is a sacred trust for us to vote for the right person who has the will of the people and to uphold the Constitution and not twist it. Also, remember: Pinocchio/Obama never had a job. If you're fair you would look up Romney and see what he has really done!!!                     Geez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I waelly feel bad about keeping my dogs in crates in the back of the truck:-D

Blitzen, are you in Tampa ? If so how far are you from the fair grounds or the RNC ? LOL

The Paul Festival is in Tampa August 24-27th during the RNC and we can't seem to get the RNC approval to allow dogs at fair ground campsites.

I had to book at the Candlewood Suites and the size limit for a dog is 60 pounds. I just got my Mal body shaved and she is still 68 pounds !! I didn't cancel reservations I'm in hopes they allow her when we get there. I need a backup plan if they refuse her. She will be one of the dogs leading the Veterans March to the RNC and a photo shoot for John Deere right after Ron and Rand's Farmers 4 RAW Milk infomercial.

Do you know a good small boarding kennel close to the fairgrounds ? I did find one but they have 44 dogs boarded and they didn't like the idea I would be picking her up and dropping her off multiple times between the 23 - 27th. Forget that - I don't want her caged and forgotten about and I need access to her multiple times.

You personally know of a nice small kennel near the fair grounds ? Thanks.

Do YOU understand the word charity and the concept that those who proclaim their belief in God have been charged with sharing their wealth, richram? Easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to to enter the kingdom of heaven. Ever read that?

Do you also understand that many are unemployed or underemployed and not working because they can't find a job or don't have a car or don't have access to public transportation? Shame on you for assuming that all poor people needing help are are lazy. Be careful that you aren't one of them some day. Pride cometh before the fall.

Romney's job record per factcheck.org.

I'm not far from Tampa Bay. Sorry, I don't know many boarding kennels in the area, but I'll ask around and let you know. Have fun.................

Yes,  3 votes here at my Estate.

and I have probably 30 of my clients all dog people will VOTE for Romney too.

Beverly Hillbillies carried their whole house on the top of their car and trucks.

Many people in USA send dogs in tiny crates in the bottom of a hot , very small spot in a big airlines called  UNDER THE BAGGAGE hole in a plane.

  Is that any worse?

Obama's Muslin beliefs are strange and anyone in dog world wonders why he even allowed his daughters to have one...OF course it is treated in a different manner than we would.

His wife is even treated differently than our wives...does that mean anything?   PICK each candidate till you find a flea in his feces and maybe it will please someone.

I think it is STUPID moronish to start worrying about  how the dog got carried on  a car.

Millions of people across the USA put a dog in the back of a pick up unchained, untied and take off to find their dog DEAD in the road 20 miles back and they never knew where it even went. Back track..DO I vote for any of them if they are running for VP or governor or senator or representative. I am more interested in morals, beliefs and constitutional bonding and intelligence and HONEST long before I worry about the DOG.

I find Abortion and Gay rights approval offensive before carrying a dog on roof in a carrier .
