8: A second angel folled and said, Fallen Fallen is Babylon the Great
A third Angel followed them saying " If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives the mark on the forhead or on the hand he too will drink the wine of God's fury, which has been poured out full strength into the cup of his wrath.  He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb.  And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever.  There is no rest for anyone who recieves the Mark.

This is what my Bible says, starting at 12:  This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.
Then I heard a voice from heaven say, "Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on, es, says the Spirit, they will rest from their labour, for their deeds will follow them"

Okay gouda,  'from now on' means after Gods wrath by the look of things.  Why does it call for patient endurance on the part of the Saints, if we are not there?

My Bible is the New International Version,  application Bible and no where in the study notes does it say we will not be here for the anti christs rule, but always to remain steadfast  and remain faithful.

Explain this scripture to me, spoken by Jesus; He is talking about the desolation of Jeruselum but obviously that is in the Anti -christs reign, and believers are here.

"as spoken through the prophet Daniel~let the reader understand~ then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.  Let no one on the roof of their houses go down to take anything out of the house.  let no one in the field go back to get his cloak.  How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers!  Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now~and never to be equaled again.  If those days had not been cut short no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened."

Sable, read2nd. Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a Falling Away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition:

Falling away  is translated from Greek word  Apostathea= A departure or taking away.

Good morning Red Sable.

Matt.24;20  But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day.

Now who do you suppose Jesus is talking to hear.?

Hears a hint for you...... Jews were not allowed to travel on the Sabbath.  Is the Church allowed to trave on their Sabbath?
Also remenber  The great Trulation is called Jacobs trouble, Who I is Jacob?

Rev.. 12:6  And the woman fled into the wilderness ,where she hath a place prepared of God,that they should feed her thetre a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

The woman flees into the widerness and is fed there for 1,260 days. This eqauls 3 1/2 years of 30 days per prophetic month. So we are taught here that Israel will be persecuted for 3 1/2 years.  This is during the last half of the tribulation,a nd has been pointed out, such texts as the following describe these awful days and show them to be in the final half of the seven year tribulation  Matt 24:15,21  from the Abomination of Desolation ate the middle of the 7 years to Christs coming at Armageddon  JER. 30:7
Dan:9:27  from antichrist breaking his covenant to protect Israel in the middle of the seven years to the end of the seven years.

The wilderness to which Israel fleese the natural rock fortification south of Israel called Petra

Sadly  ZECH. 13:8-9 SHOWS THAT ONLY ONE THIRD OF ISRAEL SHALL SURVIVE THIS ORDEAL- this shall be the remnant which, along with the gentiles who have turned to Christ, will accept Christ as their Messiah when He appears to them on the Mount of Olives after the Battle of Armageddon  ZECH. 12:9-14;  14:1-4

Hi Desert Dog  and,Red Sable

DAY OF THE LORD.....

Day of the Lord,Day of GOD,Day of Retribution are kindred expressions which denote time periods in which God will be supreme, destroy and judge the wicked, and reward them for their wickedness.  Paul in 1 Thess 5:2 speaks of the Day of the Lord as the coming 7 years awful Tribulation period when God before the Milennium begins will pour out His wrath on a world which is following the Antichrist.  Peter in
second Peter 3:10 uses this same expression referring to the final destruction of the earth prior to the formation of the New Earth .   Jer. 46:10, however, uses the expression the Day of the Lord of  Hosts to refer to Gods destroying Pharaoh Necho,s army which took place in 605 B.C.

The THESSALONIANS believed they were in the Tribulation, and had missed the rapture.
Paul assured them that they were not in the great TRIBULATION.

He {Paul} urged then not to be alarmed by reminding them in verse 1 of the blessed Hope of The Rapture of the Church, which he discussed previously in first Thess. 4:13-18.
