Thanks Babe. Actually, Sue sent me an awesome map of the immediate area where the show has been moved to. I will be staying at the Econolodge/Rodeway Inn in Willington, arriving sometime Sat. afternoon. They tell me the judge's reception might be at the casino, which sounds fun. Maybe I can win back what I am spending at the BJ table. LOL I hope to get there early enough to do a little ring practice with my wild puppies. Carol is a pro, but the 4 - 4.5 mo. olds will be wild and wooly, not having been anywhere outside our neighborhood before and... just being working line pups... unless they get so car sick they feel too punk NOT to behave themselves that is. ;) We're taking little trips around town to season them a little before the big 5 hr. journey. I've been cleaning puppy peuk out of crates for two days now. The one that gets to ride in the crate with Daddy is always fine, (only have room for 4 crates-taking 4 pups and Dad) but I don't think he'd enjoy the trip much with ALL of them laying all over him in his crate at one time. Ha ha ha. Poor "T" (Carol). The things he has to put up with... See you there. I'll be the aging, dirty blond with the wide-brimmed hat, covered in wet, muddy paw-prints, with a red Aerostar van that has acute snow-plow-rash and a headlamp assembly still broken from hitting a deer because I can't find a replacement part... full of gray working dogs. (Easy to pick out at this deal I think!) I am hoping to find some thick bushes to hide the darned thing in so no one can see it. LOL I would rent a cargo van, more presentable in public, but the local Enterprise office doesn't have one available for the weekend. I need a new vehicle, but I actually LOVE my despicable old beater. That AWD tank goes anywhere, snow or no snow, getting 22 mpg on the highway. I just can't bring myself to shell out $45K for a new Suburban: the only car still made with AWD that will hold 4 #500 crates and pull my dog trailer (also badly in need of restoration this year... ;)

Oh Shelley I wish I could go!!! I'd have to quit my job, tho...that'd mean no $$$ for dog food, so that's not an option. I'll be thinking about you, & rooting for my boys bro out there! Which pups are you taking again? Sorry our call got dropped the other day, I was, as usual, on my way to work. I seem to do that too much lately(go to work, that is!)jo

Robin, You mean you are not going? Dawnmarie was looking for a handler to show Dena. There still may be time! It's always fun to go to the Eastconn shows.
