I've not seen Rollins. I did get to work with the 2005 Grand victor, Honky Tonk Man. His owners put a PT on him last fall. He is another very very nice dog on sheep. Loads of drive for an eight year old show dog. He worked last summer in the heat and was not real fit so he didn't really impress me movement wise as much as what I saw this fall. We put him on a big graze one weekend in Novemeber. He hadn't been on stock for six weeks but had been on a diet! Wow! Very awesome dog. Beautifully efficient. He worked for an hour or so never stopping, covering the entire graze, up and down the hill. His feet staying close to the ground, his rear following through completely. This is also a Best In Show dog that has been select many times at the GSDCA. He is not at all extreme. I've worked a couple of his progeny as well and they are very driven as well. Of course the people who like the extreme dogs do not like Dallas or Rolf(Honky Tonk Man) or for that matter Rollins. But they sure look like GSDs and act like GSDs and give me much more hope for the American dogs than I've had in years. Susan

Blitzen...Quit calling names! Oh.. you mean a female..same thing.. lol just kidding around.. It would be nice for all breeders to actually improve the working abilities no matter what line and I hope they do so...

LOL, I'm one of those impossible AKC persons, DR. We always refer to female dogs as bitches. Old habits are hard to break LOL.
