Description
Minnitte's Kennel is owned by Ralph and Barrie Minnitte. Gerlach is located 100 miles north of Reno, Nevada on Hwy 447.Our home is right on the edge of the Black Rock Desert. The Black Rock Desert is a vast alkali salt flat once part of the ancient Lake Lahonton. The desert is famous for the Lassen-Applegate immigrant trail and for being where the worlds land speed record was set. More recently, the Black RockDesert has been in the news for the site of the annual Burning Man Festival".
