The Center for Immigration Studies estimates that the current cost of treating uninsured immigrants who entered this country illegally at all levels of government to be $4.3 billion a year, primarily at emergency rooms and free clinics. This doesn't take into account the billions being absorbed by in-patient care delivered by hospitals.
Who is picking up these costs? Every American taxpayer — not to mention medical facilities and insurance companies who turn around and raise their rates for everyone else.

Q: How do I know the information you've presented is accurate?
A: We don't expect anyone to accept us as the ultimate authority on any topic. Unlike the plethora of anonymous individuals who create and send the unsigned, unsourced e-mail messages that are forwarded all over the Internet, we show our work. The research materials we've used in the preparation of any particular page are listed in the bibliography displayed at the bottom of that page so that readers who wish to verify the validity of our information may check those sources for themselves.

Always been like this for years and years. What does this have to do with national sovereignty or Obamacare? Poor and working poor people haven't been covered by insurance who picks up that tab which BTW is way more than the few billions you posted?
We were all immigrants at one time or another unless native American so the attitudes toward immigrants/illegals are appalling considering most of our families weren't originally born in America. Talk about me, me, me Presidents. Look at the people in this country and it is apparent why some believe what they do. Disgusting and hypocritical all rolled up into one.
BTW, I am sure the non-quote by Ben Stein was originated from our friends the tea party, sounds like something they would come up with.

What does this have to do with national sovereignty
It has everything to do with national sovereignty, though it is only a small piece of a much larger puzzle. On the other side of the coin rests the outsourcing of jobs. Both undermine the best interests of the average US citizen, many of whom are suffering right now.

Outsourcing jobs - lol. Wonder why that all came about? Hmmmm, will leave you to spin it into your own delusions.

"You're starting to revert and digress once again admin. Because you cannot, do not, or do not wish to apprehend, does not make it a "twist", but you generally do not give yourself half a chance. Likely, because when it comes down to it, you're not interested in learning and growing, simply spouting and ranting."
