  MY best friends son was one of those above who is a DR. At Fort Hood, and he was all day and night treating the injured and in 1 month is being deployed to Afghanistan.  At this point, I am about to believe he will be safer in the hospital in Afghanistan.  He is a proud server for the USA but his commander in Chief and the people in charge do not move very fast solving the problems of MEN in the service, buying arms at a local Pawn shop or dealer , then coming on base and killing fellow enlisted men and seeing the papers say the killer is Mentally Ill?  Raises lots of questions.  Actually , all over  the USA we have the shootings that have been halted by a person , armed, who shot and killed the shooter or stopped him , from killing more than were shot by person shooting and many of them have been deemed to Mentally Ill.. So the question comes, do we arm our schools with a reputable trained LEO , and do we make sure licensed gun men are posted at functions involving over 50 people at any given time ..>>>??

What is Ruh Ro Raggy?

They have Mass knifeings or matcheticians or swordings when there are no guns available, and I've seen some reports about some people aiming for crowds with their cars. Just so sad.

Maybe the news is just choosing to cover the most sad stories.

Morning VK4

No im not a JW, you should know that by my posts. THE WATCHTOWER IS A CULT PERIOD.

Ive had a lot of run ins with the leaders of the JW. years ago when i was younger,and

lived in Oshawa Ontario. I was on their avoidence list, I had my nose into every thing in those days.

 How is the weather where you are? Its still below normal here and got a bit of wet snow and lots of really cold rain

My water line to the barn froze this year,the first time it has ever happened.

Also, he had no answer to the thorny question of how few signups represented people who had no insurance before the Affordable Care Act took effect.

I would think that "thorny question" would provide the most information needed to determine the level of success, or failure of Obamacare. Not to mention whether the cost actually goes up, or down.

@Carlin

Gov. Malloy is trying to make a public opinion point for awareness sake, that the NRA is being disingenuous with their promises. Obviously, a lobby of such size*, in doling out the money for their goals to protect gun rights, has commented on the relationship between rightful guns getting into the hands of those with mental health issues.  This is a phenomena that is current and devasting and there will be no end in sight, if, in the final effects, the NRA gets to agree to that, but is obligated to do nothing. Let Malloy ask, and make them prove it. If not, we get to call the NRA liars.
