The I hate bible thumpers thread. - Page 10

Last week there was a house fire that killed 7 children of a Mennonite farmer family.  One child ran out of the house to get the mother, that child was the only one not killed.  Fire started at night, when the mother was in the barn milking the cows and the father was returning home from his job driving a milk truck.  

the funeral for the 7 dead children is tomorrow.  There is a church who pickets funerals of soldiers killed in Iraq/Afghanistan.  They will be picketing the funeral for the 7 dead children too.  Because they are religious and they feel that is the christian thing to do?   If that's religion, I don't want any part of it.  I'll support the hard-working families, no matter what religion or lack of religion they are, and soldiers who fight for our countries' freedoms, no matter the religion or lack of it, thank you very much.

I am not religious.  And I am not worried about burning in hell.  People who try to preach "at me" will quickly find themselves talking to themselves to my closed door or my rear end walking away.  I think people who hide behind their religion to hurt and destroy other people will find out in the end who is headed "southbound".

Now we're seeing the trolls in their real light.  Who is it that's invading an OT thread and going, not only off topic, but contrary to the topic?  Who is it that's stirring and trying to casue trouble????

Molly -- Those people are fanatical, extremist  "NUTS."   The "so-called church" is composed of family members -- the Phelps family.  They are despicable!

Travels -- you have "interrupted" so many threads with your insults/sarcasm that it is rather amusing that you have the nerve to say anything about going OT on a thread  -- POT / KETTLE !!

My favorite is don't throw pearls at the feet swine...he may have had Lawyers in mind,
but maybe just people who hate people of faith.

Either way....when I see people forcing religion I see the same people who
crucified my Lord....The largest church in the world has been fingered as the Anti Christ.
But there are good and bad priest there as well in that church...the war of good and evil.

That is what runs wild in Max's head....anyway the only pressure from me is to buy a very good GSD
and train it right ....from the start.

That's right - because they are evil.  Holding their bibles  high, spouting their religious beliefs, in how they believe God supports their belief that in fact the hard-working Mennonite (very religious people themselves) are the evil ones who left their children alone in the house while doing evil things like working hard to make a living and pay their bills and support their children.   These are religious folks who believe in God and believe that hurting people is the right thing to do because GOD says it is, according to them.  

  Religion can make people evil.  What makes terrorists kill people and blow themselves up in public places?  Because they are just evil?  No, because they believe their God and their Bible tell them this is the right thing to do.  People can be evil to others, then go to church on Sundays and feel they can point their fingers at those who don't and call them evil.  Not the way it works IMO.

Religion - you can have it.  I want nothing to do with it.  With religion comes EVIL.  In the end, there are good people and bad people.  Religion enables the bad people, that's the problem I have with religion.
