Blitzen SS is a tax they make you feel good about when they give you pittance in return.

Call SS a tax, call it a fee, call it whatever you want. What is not is a goverment handout to those who have contributed to it for most of their lives. I don't consider SS a handout anymore than I consider an annuity a handout. 

It's demeaning to suggest that retired people who depend on SS are screwing the governemnt dog. Hopefully you will have a long life ahead of you and  hopefully you will learn that it's not a sign of a weak character or laziness when good people run into bad luck and have to ask for government assistance. Evidentally you or a loved one haven't experienced that yet. I hope you never do.

I disagree with your assessment of Obama, however I do respect your right to your opinion.

Fair enough Blitzen we disagree on SS (even though the handouts were characterized writ large and you chose to focus on SS vice EBT, wic, unemployment, etc)...that is fine; however, you cannot convince me that Obama is a good president and has my countries best interests at heart.  Did you not see the quote I posted the other day where Obama expoused his Leninist tendencies?  If you don't mind a socialist America, then that is your choice.  For me however, this is an unacceptable outcome.
