Police Gone Wild? - Page 7

Good post Max. Good recommendations.  I was following the "rules of engagement" set by the fab 5, and when they get responses they don't like and called out for making personal attacks, innuendo, endless questioning for more personal data, then they complain to the Mod like little babies.  The problem is they have done the very same thing to a number of others before me.  This is ganging up on, bullying, discounting, put downs.  The solution is for them to stop it.  As I said most of my posts would then not have been made, but for their repeated bullying. And I asked them to PM me or request that I stop posting, that the personal stuff be kept off the forum.  No takers, just cry babies complaining to the mod for a game they started long before I came on board. Not one single person asked me to cool it or offered to back off either.  Whatever the Mods and Oli decide is fine with me.  I will accept their decision on this.  But I do think that these little cry babies ought to grow up and learn that they can't control everything, and not what I post.

When somebody posts, I suggest a reader, skip it if no interest, read it if interested, if they disagree, post a response that they disagtree and why (without personal attacks or bullying).  This would solve the problem in my view. Setting a posting limit is okay, but really doesn't deal with the bullying and personal attack problem related emergent subgroups.  I have seen enough to now have a full picture of how these bullies and control freaks operate when they run up against someone that doesn't respond to their bullying by stopping posting or just going away. Sorry, but these manpulations do not work on me.

And Max, to answer your question, I can't because I don't know.  But I have been told that near the end of the war, some gung ho new lieutenants who were abusive to battle hardened soldiers who knew what it took to survive, got a little present placed under their cots if they wouldn't listen to reason.

Remember the police guy from Canton who was threatening to kill that one guy he pulled over with a gun and LCC ? Well, another video surfaced so I think he's gonna be dismissed from his job .. he threatened to kill everyone in the car this time. (lol Crazy) Rated R verbal content. This "peace officer" belongs locked up in GITMO, if you care to know what I think.

Ohioans for Concealed Carry is calling for the resignation of a Canton police officer and City Council President Allen Schulman.

On Thursday, the group — which last week posted a video of patrolman Daniel Harless’ threatening and volatile exchange with a concealed carry permit holder during a June 8 traffic stop — issued a statement asking both to step down immediately.

Harless is on sick leave from the force, pending the results of an internal affairs investigation and discipline hearing for his behavior.

At Monday night’s City Council meeting, Schulman lashed out at those outside of Canton who were critical of the city, and criticized Ohio’s concealed carry handgun law.

In the video, Harless remarks that he should have executed William Bartlett for being stupid and uses profane language after learning — minutes into the traffic stop — that Bartlett had a weapon with him.

Start about 16:30 listen to the whole spew, then at the end of their spew pay attention to the time on the dispatch recorder. This murder !!!

In order to provide balance, let's be clear that good, effective Police are needed in every community.  Without them there can be no law and order in many urban areas.
Like it or not, this is a fact of life. Factor in the drug gangs in many urban areas and you have war zones with sociopaths pretying on the weak on a daily basis. It is only the police that provide any real buffer and protection at all for the weak from these gang bangers and drug syndicate criminals.
