Bee - Yes I have had sashimi.  I am a big fan of beef sashimi.  I know many people aren't cool with eating raw beef but it tastes so good!  That with some saki is a nice little appetizer at the bar.

I will try the blue point as I have never heard of them but then again I don't eat oysters often.  I know I have to go to Vegas sometime soon for work and will find a few good places to go and try some.

Anthony Bourdain is the man and I am so jealous of him it ain't even funny.  I would love to have his job and its his show that makes me want to travel more than anything.  I just can't eat the food Andrew Zimmerman does on Bizarre Foods.  Stuff he eats is just flat out not appealing to me.

I too really like the beef sashimi and I feel as if I'm being reckless when eating it, ha! Seriously though, I was nervous to try it and I was really surprised at how great it was

lol...yeah I got the same feeling. It was like, "wow I am eating raw beef!"  I was better than I thought and is a favorite dish of mine now.  First time I had it was at Benihana's.

I was watching Anthony Bourdain's show and he was in Japan and he had raw chicken.  I mean raw as in they just killed the chicken earlier that day and here you are eating it raw.  Looked good.

Oooooh, you're braver than me, although I probably would try it because I never want to offend anyone. I tried chitterlings (chitlins) once... oh lord, you should've seen me trying to get that down without puking, lol! Definitely an acquired taste type thing... I'm more of a cupcake wars girl, ha!

Oh and I'm embarrassed to say but I'm kinda like Karl Pilkington (sp?), from An Idiot Abroad when traveling

lol..you would have to try just once.
But then again somethings I saw them eat I wouldn't try once or need a shot of alcohol to help flush it down.  I thik they had roasted bettle's.... *yuck*

LMAO!  I love chittlins.  It does take awhile to get use to them but I have been eating them since I was a kid.

Hey at least you have been abroad.  My passport is a total virgin.  Hurts my eyes & my heart to see that it hasn't been used yet.

I love craigslist.  Lowball people till they become desperate enough to give you the price that you want.

Just bought a Frigidaire front loading W&D with pedestals for $350!!  Guy wanted $500 but that wasn't happeneing.
Last home appliance was a Brand new sealed in the box Dyson Animal Vac for $200.

Ahaha! I don't know what a roasted bettle is!!! Do share... I too LOVE craigslist, I have bought and sold a bunch of stuff thru it! That's an awesome score. On a side note, when a stranger comes to my house, my husband deals with them and I hide with my GSD and a gun! He thinks I'm paranoid- me thinks I would rather be safe, not sorry. Oh and you can get people to buy almost anything, I've sold moving boxes and packing paper, lol

Jennifer! Ha! Ha!

Tell me you don't hide in the closet with your dogs and guns waiting to spring to your husband's defense whenever a person comes to the house to buy something! Isn't your husband in the military?
