John Kennedy

by John Kennedy on 18 March 2012 - 17:03

Would you buy a GSD that you heard but did not seen, could do a full schutzhund 3 routine but was not even titled to a 1?
Would you buy a dog that was promised to become a VA rated dog by the age of 3 but you didn't even see the picture or let alone ever hear of the dog before?

I guess the same is with people with Jesus or any kind of a God. The bible has been rewritten numerous times to suit the needs rather than to make it easier to understand.

example:

"sons of God" changed to "children of God",.......now women can be preachers. Not stating how I feel or believe, just stating how others may view things.

John Kennedy, there were many witnesses of Jesus.....in many different places. Many saw the miracles he did, and many got to see different prophecies come true that were prophesied hundreds of years earlier.   Comparing HIM to a dog doesn't even make sense.

The bible has been done in different translations, yes......which is all the more reason to study it and see which ones have changed the original texts/meaning.  There are bibles out now that don't put the emphasis on Jesus or God...as in it puts it in lower case letters when it says "HIM".....or HE....Which could make someone think it's not even referring to God or Jesus.  Some bibles now are more on a feminist basis making sure they include woman in everything...  Like where it might say brethren, now some say brothers and sisters......or where it says men, as in man kind......they feel the need to put men and women (when it actually already meant that) so it won't offend people.  We see nowhere in the New Testament of women being preachers, or teaching the scriptures to large crowds of people, there is no authority for it.  People now change words to mean something totally different....which is why we have to be careful which translation we're using....and need to study in depth to make sure what we are reading follows what the original texts stated.

sledgehammer, to your last line...telling people Jesus was alive doesn't equal preaching.  With that said, in the church women "teach" in classes to the young, the non Christians.  It comes down to women preaching over other Christians, and also the examples we see in the scriptures.

Sledgehammer.                                The Woman dressed in purple.

The Great Harlot is called Babylon the great teaches us that the final apostate world church system has its roots way back into the satanic false religion of antiquity. Satans anti-god religions have been vieing against Jehova for the ages.  Thus this great harlot is guilty of all the blood of the martyred saints of the past as well as of the blood of those who will be slain during the final Tribulation Period, just as the blood of the prophets from Abel to Zachariah was demanded from Jerusalem in A.D. 70  MATT.23:32-36, so the blood of the saints, including that of the prophets, will be demanded from this Babel Church System of the last days.  We are headed for a UNITED WORLD CHURCH WITH THE Catholic Church and Ecumenical Protestan, and aND AN OTHER BELIEF THAT iM NOT ALLOWED TO MENTION HERE, playing major roles of leadership.  No wonder she is called the great Harlot.

Rev.Chapter 17 describes the ecclesiastical Babylon.  Rev. chapter 18 describes the political-commercial Babylon.

In chapter 17 verse four we see that this Great Harlot has a royal external appearance one of grandeur, but her cup that which she offers to her companions is filled with abominations. Thus the false church system will deceive many by its impressive appearance, but it cup its teachings and pronouncements will be spiritual and morrally corrupt.  That the cup is golden shows that her teachings may outwardly seem to be Godly and moral, but yet from out of the cup comes only filth.

Now prove to me why Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism etc aren't the right religions. Why does God have to look like us? For the same reason the universe was believed to be centered on the Earth? Why would God even be limited to a physical form? Please don't let the doctrines developed by men of the past to be the instruction manual for a furute they did not experience without proper logical examination..... I still don't know what Jesus was here to do.

Watsongsd.                                                                                                                                                      Even an attempt to prove that, can get a Christian banned from this site.

No, you will not get banned but when you non-stop slam the Muslim members of this forum, well I will put a stop to it. This is an international forum and other religions post here. We would not allow Muslim members to slam Christianity just like we will not allow you to slam on Muslims.

BTW, no Christians are banned from this site for their choice of religion.
