Correct Sized Males?

I thought Size didn't matter.

Thanks for the YUKS Don!  It's nice to see someone with a sense of humor now and again(smile).

I think Vegas can do the trick... He is an important development coming from Sieger Bax's line paralleling the Hobby-Ursus-Yasko... and although not so much on being an OUTCROSS... He still has the broadest Gene pool amongst the VA-guys... probably why he was put up...seldom we see VA-dogs without linebreeding... And the GENEPOOL is, as you said, saturated with Ursus... The lines away from the Jeck Noricum line seems to produce more of females and good work ethic (Truimph's Gucci and the rest) And for VA-males..I think they are really looking for Big macho guys...Just a thought...Marci

Interesting thought Marci. What do you think of the other males that I mentioned?

Would especially like to hear your thoughts on Tiras and Idol..thanks!

I really liked Idol's progeny group last year! They stood out for me for several reasons, one being good, correct size

Idol has some very nice progeny........also saw a couple of Ilbo progeny,..nice.

We have seen a few Vegas progeny too....."concerns"....all 3 dogs were of completely differant types and structure/size..??? could be because there is no line breeding on Vegas.    Also liked the Bravos progeny....very nice size & structure,...color & pigment seemed to be needed.

Just a few observations......

Rose, they are adorable.  I like the partis the best. No, I never bred Cockers, but knew a fairly well known American Cocker breeder and one who bred English. They constantly worried over their best puppies going oversize, I heard it all the time . I wonder if we will be hearing that lament form GSD breeders too?
