Wrestleman: I am not bashing religion just the way it is crammed down our throats, remember choice? And Whitney didn't do crack, she did use cocaine, not the poor man's fix. But it doesn't matter because you want to condemn her and everyone else I guess who just didn't get it right in the amount of time they had.  Who is scared? Certainly not me.

BEETREE There is only one way Beetree ,and that is Christ Jesus.  Anyone that seeks a miracle to believe will never regognize it as such.  Also Beetree when we discuss people we should always discuss the good and the bad in them. Because if we refuse to discuss the bad,how than will our children learn.

Tell me Beetree, why would I never be sorry if I name a pup afer you?.

P.S.  I never allow a person to pat me on the back, for the simple reason I dont deserve it.

I have a little female on the front page of my web site with no name yet.
She is 3 weeks old when the picture was taken.  She was the runt of the litter.
She is now 5 weeks old and onl 3 pounds.  First time we have ever had a runt this small.
She is doing well now, bites like a little paranah. She is very red and black.

Gouda, you'll never know until you do. Have a nice night! It's just a good feeling I have, LOL   God is very good to me, is that reason enough?

Oh and I prayed for my miracles, and they were answered, you want to question God?

****And I will also add, I did not seek miracles to believe. I always believed in God, he answered my prayers, and it will always be easy for me to believe. Clearly, He made it happen.

I vote for no more religious discussions.

What will that change?

I think it's useful to read what others say, tells you a lot about those who speak.

If you ban religion in the off topic thread, then where do you draw the line for banning other topics? When someone posts too much on one topic?  When someone gets their "feelings" hurt because of a topic?  When someone doesn't "like" a topic because they find it distasteful?  I remember when another poster monopolized the OT section for weeks on related topics and no moderator ever suggested that topics of that nature should be banned.

ggturner,

Please don't guess what happened in the past, because you would be wrong.

Several people have been talked to about monopolizing the OT forum in the past.

I think the people who are religious need to quit antagonizing the non-believers or people with different beliefs.

I also believe the non-believers or those with different beliefs need to quit antagonizing the believers. Two way street.

But in the long run if religion is banned, what would it hurt? Life would still go on--just a few posters would need to find other topics to comment on.

BTW, other people are also hi-jacking threads for their various thrills/reasons, not just religious people.

I honestly don't have an answer, I am so tempted to wash my hands of the OT forum and be done with it. I was at one time a big supporter of OT but that support is now gone.

Totally agree, grasshopper.

Enough respect, dscipilne, and restraint should be extended on a public forum to discuss almost anything productively. Anything that can't be discussed can be conveyed through the use of pm's; issues arise when things that should be expressed privately, are made public. This often happens when we feel the need.to get into e-pissing contests; I am guilty of it myself. Other problems can be avoided by simply asking of yourself "what is my REAL motivation in posting such and such?" , and making a mature descision.
