Gsd, I would conclude it's a hoax.
Travels, agreed. I have seen neonates from mixed race parents who exhibit traits of both races. Chances of a blond (not albino) is next to nil, however. Unless the hair changes later. My oldest full brother was what used to be called a 'toe head', absolutely blond until he was about twelve yrs old. Then his hair turned inkblack and to this day, he is 75 yrs old and still full head of black hair, no grey. He has lived in washington state for the last 35 yrs, where the sun rarely shines, yet he still has very dark complextion, as though he has been on the ocean off fla every day.

Joan, I read about this particular couple when this child was born a few years ago and it's no hoax, there is white blood in their lineage. This is one of those remote chances that did arise, she is genetically the product of both black parents.

@GSD Admin
The first people on earth were black.
I can agree with that. No problem, here! Even if one is a literalist, there is nothing to say they weren't black. Don't see that as a problem. You aren't understanding allegory as it relates to interpretaion of the teachings in the OT Bible creation.
AND, a belief in evolution theory isn't a problem with me, or the Pope. It does take an understanding of allegory, to allow such diversity over time, though. Do check out the other link I made for you.
Allegorical interpretation is an interpretive method (exegesis) which assumes that the Bible has various levels of meaning and tends to focus on the spiritual sense (which includes the allegorical sense, the moral (or tropological) sense, and the anagogical sense) as opposed to the literal sense.
Speaking at the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, the Pope made comments which experts said put an end to the “pseudo theories” of creationism and intelligent design that some argue were encouraged by his predecessor, Benedict XVI.
Sir Elton John Labels Pope Francis 'My Hero'
Francis explained that both scientific theories were not incompatible with the existence of a creator – arguing instead that they “require it”.
I wonder, too, perhaps there is this perspective in the quote, "nothing new under the sun" that can simply mean there are no longer any creations from nothings happening any more. Man has been given all he ever will. All the variety in all the DNA came into its singular existence, and is what there is to work with. DNA gets mutated, it gets left off, it gets mixed up sometimes, but man isn't going to create a new DNA of anything, from nothing. All the recipe ingredients can be discovered, sure. The catalyst, though? That is where you will never find proof. Cloning, yes, epigenetics, yes, cluster species, all of that, sure, but the Frankenstein thing, using lightning as the catalyst, is not happening. That classic truly was a great book of imagination born out of dare.

Don't you think Snopes would be all over this extraordinary birth by now, if it was a hoax?
Also, if it was a mix-up baby, shouldn't there be a white couple holding a black baby, saying ... WTF, too?

different races in an attempt at PC.

Newborn black babies are no darker than some causasion babies, and their hair is soft and only slightly curly, so, no, new parents may not be immediately aware...not to mention the father might figure the mother cheated on him to explain a baby of different race than him.

I checked out Snopes first, before I posted it. I like to perform at least a modicum of due diligence.
LOL, it really doesn't matter what an artist chose to paint as an illustration for the Bible text. We know for sure Jesus was a Jew. Plenty of dark skinned Jews out there, too. In the PC world of today, there are indeed plenty of "Black Jesus's" being painted.
