LOL, I never have a problem with threads going off track. If it's dogs, it's all interesting to me.
anyway, I never noticed, but my Dogtra receiver does not have a turn off and it keeps blinking, I assume until the battery runs down. Like I said, I've only used it a couple of times in 15 years, but after a little shop time, it's like new.

Problem with my Dogtra collar was I put the charger in a plastic shopping bag in the dog food cupboard. Many moons later, I thought "What's an empty plastic bag doing here?" And I threw it out without looking inside! :'(
And it seems to be nearly impossible to buy the chargers separate from the collars... :((
