Mittelgroß, mittelkräftig, gutes Gepräge. Hoher Widerrist, leichte Unterbrechung in der Oberlinie, kurze Kruppe, gerade Front. Etwas kurzer Oberarm, sehr gute Hinterhandwinkelung. Vorhand lose, geht vorne und hinten gerade, guter Nachschub mit leicht gebundenem Vortritt. Sicheres Wesen, Härte, Mut und Kampftrieb ausgeprägt. WA 82: Gute Verfassung.

Flori has 11 offspring listed in the GSD PDb with over half dysplastic and only one set of normal hips out of the 11. Flori had normal hips as did his most famous mating partner Perle vom Rosenbusch yet bred together and bred separately they produced an inordinate number of dysplastic hips between them. I must think that due to the over use of Fero and the polygenetic nature of hip dysplasia Fero (fast Normal) and his full brother Hero (dysplastic) must have given us many dogs who carry genetic coding for increased incidence of hip dysplasia.

This dog is well known working German Shepherd dog, coming from proven working bloodlines and passing those traits to its progeny. Simply a legend.
