I know the second definition doesn't relate to the subject but I posted it anyway. But according to the dictionary the term hybrid incorporates more than just the inter- breeding of organisms of different species.

www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/hybrid

1:  an offspring of two animals or plants of different races, breeds, varieties, species, or genera
2: a person whose background is a blend of two diverse cultures or traditions

The correct use of the term hybrid all depends on the scale or perimeters that are set

Without doing an actual genome test for the said animal, normally the percentages are based off of the pedigree. Now how they base a safe amount to be 50% or 99% I do not know. In alabama you can not have over 98% wolf.

1st generation hybrid
50/50 wolf dog

2nd generation hybrid bred back to 100% wolf
25/75

3rd generation hybrid bred back to 100% wolf
12.5/87.5

4th generagtion hybrid bred back to 100% wolf
6.25/93.75

5th generation hybrid bred back to 100% wolf
3.13/96.88

6th generation
1.56/98.44

Yes I have taken genetics. You rolling of tong is truth . Very cute.  What I am referring to in maybe clumsy way  is that you are stating that wolf and dog has different genotypes and because of that they are Hybrid . So what !? 2 German shepherds may have different genotypes too and they are not hybrids.

Hans,
There are two very important parts of Freedom and Liberty.
One, they are theories, and, very important in the creation of the United States.
Second, there is the practical application of it.
According to your view of it, as you stated, if I want to own something, I should be able to.
Well, I have always thought it would be great to own a Rhinoceros.
Do you think that this is practical or safe for me, the animal, or, the other people in the neighborhood that I live in?
Domesticated dogs and cats evolved over a very long time which is what has allowed them to thrive living with man. Forcing that to happen because a person has a small wee-wee or some similar ego issue isn't good for man, or, animal.
You brought up the Czech Wolf Dog. Did that happen over-night, or was it through very careful breeding over a period of time to produce something that is a viable breed?

We need a legal definition.

The point I am making is that gov can not come to someones house and look at the dog confiscate it because by looking at it they determine that  it is certain percentage of wolf and then kill it.

The only way to know for sure what percentage of the animal is wolf or dog would be to do DNA testing on it.  The appearance of an individual is what is referred to as its phenotype, so even though it " looks like" a wolf, the only way to know is to test it and find out.  Those laws should include DNA testing to prove or disprove what percentage of wolf is in the animal.

Liberty does not mean to do what ever you want . I have not said that and if it came across as such then it was not my intention.
No what I am sayingis that
Liberty is a freedom to do what ever anybody wants without constraining others. Thus having hard to control Rhinoceros in the back yard is constraining your neighbors by unbearable smell, subdivision's covenances  and danger and great potential that such animal will brake through picket fence and top neighbors cars.

I am using the scientific definition for the term hybrid because it is a scientific term.  Not trying to be "cute" just relating a fact.  Only identical twins have the exact same genotype.   So, every animal or person(except for identical twins)  that is the result of sexual reproduction is a hybrid.  It's just a term to describe how genes are passed on.  It's a definition plain and simple.   Just like any other definition.
